About Blueground Partner Network

What is the Blueground Partner Network and how it works

A1. What is the Blueground Partner Network?

The Blueground Partner Network is an invite-only network, where professional property managers and operators can publish their furnished listings on Blueground's platform. Guests can book these units through the Blueground website.

How the model works

  • You connect your listings through a PMS or Channel Manager.
  • Blueground imports your listing content, pricing, fees, and availability.
  • Listings are published on Blueground's website and optionally in selected third-party channels.
  • Guests book your units.
  • Blueground collects payments and shares your payouts net of the Blueground commission.

What Blueground provides

  • Global distribution - access to a global network of proprietary corporate client base and extended stay demand
  • Higher occupancy - increase occupancy and length of stay throughout the year
  • Seamless integration - high-quality listing presentation with automated calendar and pricing syncing

What partners manage

  • Guest communication around listing-specific questions and operational issues
  • Guest background checks & ID screening (optional)
  • Lease agreement signing
  • Move-in coordination
  • Unit upkeep and in-stay support

A2. Who collects the payouts?

  • Blueground collects the total booking value from the guest.
  • From this amount, Blueground deducts:
    • 7% partner commission (applied only on the accommodation price and any accommodation fees like utilities, pet, parking, etc.)
    • Blueground fees (e.g., service fee, convenience fee, rent installment fee)
  • Blueground sends the remaining amount (including any collected security deposit) to the partner.

See the payments & payouts section for more details.

A3. How does the Blueground booking model work?

Blueground operates with Instant Bookings. Instant Bookings convert much higher and ensure a better guest experience.

What does Instant Book mean?

  • Bookings are confirmed instantly (i.e., there is no approval or Request-to-Book step) based on the availability that you have shared.
  • However, the partner can still conduct a background check based on your policies.

What happens after a booking?

  • The partner receives a reservation email.
  • Listings calendars
    • For PMS integrations the calendar is updated automatically.
    • For other integrations, please ensure you have added the Blueground iCals on your PMS/other channels listings' calendar to have the calendar automatically reflect any bookings. If this is not done you have to manually add the blocked dates in order to avoid overbookings (not recommended).
  • The partner is responsible for contacting the guest within 24 hours to communicate any additional requirements (lease signing, screenings) and share move-in instructions.

A4. Who are Blueground guests?

Blueground is open to all booking durations that comply with local regulation, from a few days to more than a year. We primarily serve corporate guests, professionals, and flexible renters looking for mid- to long-term furnished stays.

Typical guest profiles

  • Business travelers and corporate assignees
  • Remote workers and digital nomads
  • Individuals and families relocating to new cities
  • Expats on medium-term assignments
  • MBA students, interns, and postgraduate students (in specific markets)

These guests expect consistency, comfort, and convenience—attributes aligned with Blueground's offering.
